In April 2023, Tomar inaugurated the Millets Experience Centre (MEC) at Dilli Haat, New Delhi, in collaboration with the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED). This initiative aimed to promote the dietary benefits of millets (Shree Anna) and encourage their inclusion in regular meals. The MEC features a live kitchen serving millet-based dishes and showcases products developed by various millet-centric startups, reflecting Tomar’s commitment to diversifying agricultural practices and promoting healthy eating habits.
