Early Life and Education
Mr. Shukla pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Government Engineering College in Rewa. His leadership qualities emerged early, as he was elected president of the student union at his college in 1986.
Political Career
Mr. Shukla’s political journey began with the Indian National Congress, where he served as the Treasurer of the Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress. He later transitioned to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and contested the Assembly elections from the Rewa constituency in 1998. Although he narrowly lost his first election, he secured victory in the 2003 elections and has been re-elected consecutively in 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2023.
